About our Founder

Craig Eisele

Born outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA and the oldest of five children.

Currently single after being divorced for the second time in July 2004, he has been a father to 5 daughters  His commitments are divided between his daughter who has been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders and his passion for Africa.

Attended Yale and the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Finance.

Areas of Study include: Marketing, Management; Psychological Services focusing on “Group Process Theory” and the inner workings of how groups operate; Strategic Planning and New Business Development.

His favorite memory in academia was nearly being thrown out of a Ph.D. Course for suggesting that General Motors would be better off in shedding its manufacturing assets and focusing on its design, development and marketing of vehicles. It is a belief that he still holds..

He has traveled and/or worked in approximately 60 countries around the world including more than 20 on the Continent of Africa.

While deeply influenced by academic and philosophical teachings from his University days, his work has been imaginative, innovative, creative and yet pragmatically and realistically based on sound business principals. Utilizing a methodology that includes “systems approach” his focus is generally on finding strategic “Windows of Opportunity” for Business (regardless of industry) and Governments to take advantage.

“I have never been good at maintaining the “baby” (the daily job of running an ongoing business), as it never grows up, BUT I have thoroughly enjoyed the various ways of making the “baby” said Mr. Eisele when asked recently if he was going to be in charge of the actual construction of this project. “ I am at my best when I am engaged in finding new and innovative ways to resolve differences using a “Kantian methodology” (Emanuel Kant) where two appearingly opposite views or opinions can exist in harmony in a single plane of existence. I know it is academic… but if you use a magnate as an example it is where positive and negative exit in harmony. That is what I try to do to solve problems in implementation. So to answer your Question, the answer is an emphatic NO! However, I will stay with this project until it is completed and assist anyone who wants to grow and develop with Africa.”

Mr. Eisele has worked on developing a “workable” plan for Africa for the last 2 years. Using a dogma from his University days… “If you cannot solve the problem you are facing then you are facing the wrong problem” and applying the methodology of “Change the Definition of the problem to find a workable answer”… he is confident that the basic model for Trans-Africa Development Company addresses the issues and problems with unlocking the enormous capacity for Africa’s Future and in the Design Development and Implementation of this project.

Mr. Eisele has committed a minimum of 20 percent of his profits from Trans-African Development Company to either existing funds helping the people of Africa or a new fund dedicated to the Health, Education and Welfare of the people living in Africa.
